NEXTLINK NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

McLennan County Pack of Hope supplies participating school districts and their eligible students with backpacks of food when the children are not in school. They have given out more than 250,000 packs since their inception and everything is done through donations.

Nextlink Staff donated household supplies along with $200 check to Freedom House of Parker County. This organization helps survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse in emergency situations and assists them in transitioning to a safer environment.

Christmas is a time to spread love and cheer to others! Families who are stressed to meet the financial strains of day-to-day life question how they might provide gifts for their children on Christmas. Every child should experience the joy of Christmas morning.

The Erath County Humane Society offers shelter to the homeless and unwanted animals in the area. Not only do they care for the homeless animals, but they also reunite lost pets to their owners. The shelter is non-profit and depends on the community to help continue their dedication to the welfare of animals.

Nextlink contacted the Weatherford Police Department wanting to help out in some manner. The Weatherford Police Department and the Morgan Mill Volunteer Fire Department are usually the first ones to an accident or fire. Sadly, many of these accidents involve children.

Nextlink was proud to present a $2,000 check to Home For the Brave in Ennis, Texas on June 22nd.

Nextlink is running a fundraiser for Corporal Cody Jones. The funds we raise during this fundraiser will be utilized to build a home for a veteran in Ennis, Texas.

Our community fundraising event is in support of Grace House Ministries. Grace House Ministries assists those that find themselves with an unexpected pregnancy.
