Abigail’s Arms
On August 5, 2021, Nextlink donated a $500 check to the Abigail’s Arms in Gainesville, Texas.
Abigail’s Arms Cooke County Family Crisis Center’s mission is to create a safer future by empowering families and inspiring change in our communities through education and awareness. They provide services for domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect, and more. Specific services include an emergency shelter open to victims who are fleeing and need a safe space to recover, 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention and support, counseling and life skills, safety planning, financial goal setting, parenting, and healthy relationship groups, and more. They recently celebrated their 7th anniversary and are proud offer services at a second new location.
