Operation C.A.R.E.

On July 12, 2021, Nextlink donated a $500 check to Operation C.A.R.E., in Altus, OK.

This monetary donation to Operation C.A.R.E. will be used to further their programs that help with utility assistance, clothing, food, medical prescriptions, GED’s, birth certificates, identification, driver’s license, emergency travel, emergency lodging and budget planning to residents in the Altus community. Programs like the Back to School Bash – provide free back packs and school supplies; Dental Smiles of Oklahoma – provide free dental care; Shoe Project – provides new shoes for school aged children at the beginning of the school year; Kid’s Christmas – allows children to pick gifts out for their household. On the 3rd Saturday of every month, they give out food boxes along with a hot meal provided by different entities in our community which would include churches, clubs and businesses.
