HUDSON OAKS, Texas – For the fifth time since 2017, Nextlink Internet is on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

The “Inc. 5000” list for 2022 ranks Nextlink’s parent company, AMG Technology Investment Group, at number 1,897 among 5,000 companies with the highest percentage revenue growth from 2017 to 2021.

Since the company’s first appearance on the list in 2017, annual revenues have grown from approximately $16 million to $110 million, and the number of employees has grown from 130 to 950.

“The reasons why we’re growing so fast are plain to see,” said Bill Baker, Founder and CEO of Nextlink Internet. “We offer reliable, affordable, high-speed internet and voice services and a better customer experience in hundreds of rural and small town markets where these services are desperately needed. Our nearly 1,000 team members in 7 states are proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and we have so much more we want to achieve in expanding our service footprint.”

By the end of 2023, Nextlink is planning on passing over 100,000 homes with fiber and deploying widespread gigabit wireless.

“We anticipate continued explosive growth by rapid infrastructure deployment and a laser-focus on doing the right thing for all of our stakeholders, especially our customers,” said Bill Baker. “If you’re doing right by the customer, good things follow.”
