Our current community fundraising event is in support of Grace House Ministries.
Grace House Ministries plays a vital role in the Weatherford community, assisting those that find themselves with an unexpected pregnancy. Through the kind and generous donations of supporters, Grace House Ministries is able to provide the following services: Free pregnancy tests, limited sonograms, peer counseling, parenting classes, in-school abstinence training, and medical referrals.
Nextlink employees have created four baskets with the following themes: Date Night, Texas Proud, Grillin’ and Chillin’, and Family Game Night. Today, employees have begun selling raffle tickets for the baskets. Tickets will sell for $1.00 each and you may choose which basket you want to put your raffle ticket toward. Tickets are being sold January 20th-February 17th.
Here are the details of the baskets:
Basket 1, Date Night: fleece blanket, 7 boxes of candy, 6 heart-shaped tea light candles, 2 bags of popcorn, decorative heart stand, vase filled with bloomed roses, 2 bottles of wine, a bottle of Skinny Girl Vodka – Cosmo flavor, 32 oz bottle Coors Light, 2 wine glasses, $25 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings, $25 gift card to a restaurant, 4 AMC movie tickets, $10 in AMC gift cards, The Note Book movie, heart-shaped zebra printed pillow.
Basket 2, Texas Proud: Texas flag wall hanging decoration, “Welcome” sign, bucket of Texas home-grown Pecans with nutcracker, bottle of Texas Crown Whiskey with shot glass, 2 small bottles of gin brewed in Austin, and a bag of Texas peanuts.
Basket 3, Grillin’ and Chillin’: 2 aprons (1 plain white, 1 with words “The Man, The Myth, The Legend”), grill mit, digital meat thermometer, grill lighter, six pack of Shiner Bock, bottle of black cherry wine from Paradise, shish kabob set, marinade, bottle of liquid smoke, a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s, a bottle of A-1 dry rub, $20 cash for meat, set of flour sack hand towels, 2 decorative cloth napkins, bottle of Goo Gone grill cleaner, and a set of grill tools (spatula, fork, tongs, brush, and grill scraper.)
Basket 4, Family Game Night: Words with Friends deluxe, Monopoly Electronic Banking, Bejeweled Blitz, Sorry, Heads Up, Yahtzee Classic, Apples to Apples, Clue, Uno, and three boxes of Bicycle playing cards.
